FINN ARCHER ; twenty three, waiter.
the king, anger bubbling underneath the
jokes & sunlight running though his veins.
❝ when i shall die, take him and cut him out in little stars and he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun. ❞
Keely looked up when a boy who seemed to be under some sort of influence approach her and at his words, her brows raised. “They’re not so bad.” She told him. “I mean, I’ve been in a few and they were all fine. But I guess things are different for everyone.” She shrugged, smiling slightly at him.
“If only I had your luck, ‘cause for me, the lot are just terrible. & this one’s the worst, by far.” & with that, he was talking more about the aftermath than the relationship itself. Because the relationship was good. It was him who screwed it all up in the end.
Looking at the obviously drunk man Andres tried to stop himself from laughing from behind the bar. He wasn’t sure who’d let him get this drunk here but it wasn’t his fault so it wasn’t much of a problem to him. “Oh yeah terrible things. Fuck ‘em.”
“You have no idea.” & in the grand scheme of it all, everyone probably knew exactly what he meant. He was at an all time high in self-pitying, though, even though he brought this very mess upon himself in the first place.
“Dunno, bruv. I think I’d like to be in a relationship. Maybe you’ve just had horrible experience with ‘em.”
“You should just get that thought out now, there’s no point of having it at all. I’ve ruined every single one &, like, someone always ruins something.”
Ava was a little shocked when someone stumbled up to her as she was walking peacefully. “Well people bother with relationships because they want to find happiness and feel like someone could help them be happy. Plus being completely in love is probably an incredible feeling.”
“That’s total crap, I promise. The only things you need are yourself &, like, pizza or something.”
The brunette raised her eyebrow as she watched the clearly drunk man and chuckled lightly. “Sex on the reg usually does it for people.”
“That’s just brilliant! Perhaps I should try that.” & maybe he would. It would save his mind the efforts of messing everything up, & everything would be temporary.
Izzy eyed the man as she walked towards her, arms folding over her chest as she tried her hardest not to let out a snicker. “—Going through a bad breakup?”
He stopped walking, bringing whatever attention he had to the girl in front of him. “The absolute worst but, like, we were engaged.”
Gracie noticed the redhead, and looked down at the ground. “Is everything okay?” The blonde asked, she took a deep breath and sighed.
“Oh, it’s all just wonderful!Everything, just like this.” Sarcasm’s running off his tongue, more accidental than anything. He felt fucked, to say the least, & wasn’t entirely sure he’d feel anything different again.
“Maybe google knows - you probably got one of those smart phones, right?” Ashley rolled his eyes, mixing the man’s drink before sliding it over to him, taking the money from his hand to count into the cash drawer, “I’m pretty sure some fuckin’ Coca Cola is nothing compared to the shots you’ve been downing all fuckin’ night. In fact, it’s probably better for you.”
“Oh, totally. Google knows everything, doesn’t it. I should marry Google instead.” He’s taking his phone out & taking the drink at the same time. One hand’s focused on googling the answer, more or less, while the other is holding the drink as he sips from the straw. “I guess you would know, since you’re the mixer & everything.”
“Mm, they can suck. If you choose the wrong one that is.” Abel chuckling a bit at the boy. “Why don’t we sit down and you can rant about how much relationship do indeed, suck.”
“But it wasn’t wrong, it was perfect.” he had a sort of confused, helpless look on his face, sitting down at the boy’s suggestion. “They’re just absolutely the worst! I always ruin them, even when they’re perfect.”
